During 2004 Health In Form was successful in forming a network of suppliers in Far East and Europe.
These suppliers have provided specialized products that have been instrumentalin establishing HIF in the South African health care market. These networks also extend to local suppliers and manufacturers forming healthy reciprocal business opportunities.

In November 2004, Health In Form was appointed the African Distributor for Eastland Medical Systems Ltd (EMS), an Australian listed company. EMS is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of safe injectable devices and other established medical products.Their South African company Eastland Medical Systems SA (Pty) Ltd (EMSSA) is HIF's largest shareholder. This association has allowed HIF to forge close relationships with two of the companies in the EMS Group; Portland Surgical Products ( Portland ) and Medical Industries Australia (MIA).

The companies in the group are also committed the South African Government plan to redress the imbalances of the past and make meaningful changes in the economy by introducing the policy of Black Empowerment. HIF supports the principals and goals of the policy and believesthe right BEE partners could make significant and meaningful contributions to the company's growth and development.

To this end, HIF has attracted our own BEE as a shareholder and partner. HIF has also strengthened its BEE position through the stake taken up by EMSSA. They have acquired BEE partners in Eastland Medical Systems SA (Pty) Ltd, who through their position and experience will significantly enhance the capacity to bringing the group goals to fruition. We believe that these partners will ensure that the principals behind the Governments BEE policy will be adhered to and reflect the demographics of South Africa.
